Types of Plaster
Below is a quick overview of the most common plasters we use: Marmarino, Tadelakt, and Intonachino. We also work with other traditional lime based plasters that may be right for your project. MARMARINO VENEZIANO
Marmorino is made from lime and ground marble. Its coloring has a single soft color with subtle shadings. It has a very durable and hard finish and may be applied to have a very smooth marble like appearance. It is often used in environments that want an atmosphere of sophistication such as reception areas, offices, and homes.
INTONACHINO
Intonachino plaster finish is uniformly rough with slight variations in color intensity, creating a matte finish. This plaster is highly breathable, mildew resistant and has an excellent drying ability. It is for use on both interior and exterior surfaces
TADELAKT
This traditional finish was used for walls in Moroccan steam baths. Rediscovered in the West, Tadelakt is appreciated for its durability and aesthetically pleasing exotic appearance.It can have a smooth finish, slightly shiny like Marmorino Veneziano, but thicker and less textured. It is very durable and water resistant. Ideal for rooms with baths, hot tubs and pools.
